Saturdays at Dance Cave = Okay by me!

Yes, Yes, I know it's Tuesday and I KNOW I'm only putting party pictures up!
But a blonde/blue haired girl's got to do what she's got to do!
I've been jobhunting and sorting out my life. This week will be crazy fun. We got Sneaky Dees on Wednesday, Thursday at the Underground, and Saturday is Nuitblanche! So much fun all in one week is hard to handle!

Today has been absolutely crazy!
I've been job hunting, eating sushi, and hanging around the studio.
This afternoon we laid down the vocal tracks for our newest song, "Skip a Beat".
I'll be redoing the vocals for our Blancmange cover later tonight.

Back to Toronto tomorrow, just in time for a party and Canadas Wonderland!

In Windsor again recording!

After such a long time on the road, I'm starting to feel the strain of it all.
I slept all through Tuesday.
This morning I took the early bus to Windsor to start recording the album once again.
7 hours later... and I arrive in Windsor!

The studio has been revamped and is looking amazing!
We'll be working all through the night, writing songs and re-recording old songs.

Tomorrow I might be off back to T.O. to see U2 in concert for free!

BUCHAREST HIGHLIGHTS

I had alot of fun during my last week in Bucharest. Greenfest, Control, Suburbia, Fire, Expirat, the works...
I arrived in Toronto yesterday, with my roommate Kate holding up an official Toronto International Film Festival welcome sign.
Mark showed up 30 minutes later with a cardboard sign with 3 stick figures and "BECKY ELA ELA - A - A- A - A" in bold.
We went for All-you-can-eat Sushi (of course), and then after 18 hours of travelling, I just collapsed.

I'm off to Windsor tomorrow to start recording once again!

Photoshoot with Diana!

It's my last weekend in Bucharest!
One I'll be sure never to forget.
This week I've been working with Diana on this shoot, as well as sorting myself out for Canada...

All work and no play...

When you're in Bucharest!
I haven't been writing due to the fact that when I haven't been catching up on sleep, I've been out and about town.
Friday and Saturday was absolutely crazy with Milena and Diana. Chilling on terraces until 10 am, watching the sunrise and partying with ex-bandmates.

On Saturday, Dekadens played at art boulevard and they did a great job!


Wednesday I did an interview with MTV on the new band, What She Said, as well as catching up on old times with Dekadens. I'll be sure to post a preview when that comes up.

Today I'm off to Tuborgs Greenfest. As much as I feel like dancing and having a good time to live music, I'm mostly looking forward to Silent Disco afterwards.
